Refund policy
Vital Planet Product Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with every Vital Planet purchase. If you are not, we accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of the purchase date. Returns received outside this 30-day window are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
What Is Eligible
- Products purchased directly from VitalPlanet.com, returned within 30 days of the purchase date
- Products that are unused and unopened, in their original packaging
- For subscription orders, each shipment has its own 30-day window, measured from that shipment's charge date (see Subscription Orders below)
What Is Not Eligible
- Returns postmarked more than 30 days after the purchase date
- Opened or partially used products, unless they arrived damaged or defective
- Free gifts, promotional items, and samples
- Products purchased from any other retailer or website, including Amazon (see below)
Ineligible returns received at our facility cannot be refunded. We will hold them for 14 days; on request we can ship them back to you at your expense, after which they will be donated or discarded.
How to Return a Product
Whether you are returning for a refund or an exchange, please do the following before shipping the product back to us:
- Place the unused, unopened product in a return box.
- On a sheet of paper, include your name and shipping address.
- Tell us why you are returning the product.
- State whether you want a refund or an exchange.

You are responsible for return shipping charges. We recommend a trackable shipping method; we cannot issue refunds for returns lost in transit. You should hear back from us within 10 days of receiving your return. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Subscription Orders
Subscriptions are billed and shipped automatically on your renewal schedule. You are in full control: you can skip, pause, reschedule, or cancel at any time in your account portal or by contacting Customer Service, as long as the change is made before your next billing date.
- Each subscription shipment is a separate purchase with its own 30-day return window from its charge date.
- Once a subscription order has been billed and shipped, it is a valid charge. Not canceling before the billing date is not grounds for a refund of that charge; however, the unopened shipment may be returned under the standard 30-day terms above.
- Earlier shipments from a subscription that are outside their own 30-day window are not eligible for return or refund.
- We reserve the right to limit the number of returned subscription shipments per account and to cancel a subscription on accounts with repeated returns.
If a renewal has just processed and you did not intend it, contact us right away at (866) 787-9001 or support@vitalplanet.com, or use our contact form. If the order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to cancel it for you, though we cannot guarantee interception once an order is processing.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right with a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Please keep the product and packaging until your case is resolved; a photo speeds things up.
Purchases from Amazon and Other Retailers
Products purchased from any other retailer or website, including Amazon, must be returned to the original seller under that seller's return policy. VitalPlanet.com cannot accept returns of, refund, or exchange products that were not purchased directly from VitalPlanet.com. For Amazon purchases, please initiate your return through your Amazon account.
Our Right to Limit Returns
We reserve the right to refuse or limit returns or refunds in cases of suspected abuse of this policy, including excessive or repeated returns, returns of products not purchased from VitalPlanet.com, or returns that do not follow the process above.
Exchanges
Exchanges follow the same eligibility rules. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will ship the requested replacement product. If the replacement costs more, we will contact you for the difference; if less, we will refund the difference.
